Iran Press/America: CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter said: "CNN is asking for a hearing today in DC district court some time this week to get a temporary order to get Acosta's press pass back right away. Then CNN will seek permanent relief so this doesn't happen again in the future."
"There is no case like this that we've found," he added.
White House said last week that it's suspending the press pass of CNN's Jim Acosta "until further notice."
During a press conference at the White House, a combative Trump allowed Acosta, CNN's chief White House correspondent, to ask his question only to cut him off shortly after and branding the journalist an "enemy of the people."
A visibly angry Trump called Acosta a "rude, terrible person," after he refused the president's orders to sit down and give up the microphone during the conference one day after the US midterm congressional elections.
“CNN must be ashamed of itself having you working for them,” the president told Acosta. “You are a rude terrible person.”

Trump calls media the “true Enemy of the People” the same day a bomb is sent to CNN last month.
He slammed the press in a pair of tweets, saying the “great anger” in the United States is caused “in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news.” He called the press the “true Enemy of the People” and said that if the media reported the news “accurately” and “fairly,” it would “put out the flame” of anger and outrage. “Fake News Must End!” he wrote. 101/211
