Iran Press/Iran news: Rear Admiral Shamkhani in a meeting with Ziyad al-Nakhalah noted that: "US president Donald Trump's plan for Palestine or so-called 'deal of the century' project was a major blow to Palestine but resistance groups and the vigilant nations of the region will prevent its realization," Iran Press reported.
Admiral Shamkhani said one of the fundamental principles of Iran's foreign policy is continuous support of the Palestinian resistance and Palestinian ideals.
The secretary general of the national security council said: "Since the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran, we always stand with the oppressed Palestinian people, and support for Palestinian people which originated from religious beliefs and human values of Iranian nation. We shall continue our support until complete victory of the resistance."
Shamkhani pointed to the clear and covert support of some Arab countries for the colonial plan of the United States under the title of 'deal of the century' adding: "The biggest Israeli crimes against Palestinians, have been overshadowed by the barbarism of Takfiri terrorists, and this has become a double injustice for the Palestinian people and their ideals.
Elsewhere in his remarks the secretary general of the national security council called the Palestinian 'march of return' protests a turning point for Palestinian resistance, arguing that: "The Palestinians never give up their homeland and today advocates of logic of democracy are supporting Palestinian people against Zionist occupiers."
The secretary general of the national security council noted the continuous victory of genuine popular movement in Iraq, Syria and Yemen against terrorist groups supported by US, Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia, adding: "Today more than ever the resistance movement shows his victory against hegemonic system and no doubt these process will accelerate realization of Palestinian people's aspirations."
Iran real supporter of the Palestinian cause
Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement (PIJ) Ziyad al-Nakhalah, for his part, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a real and true supporter of the Palestinian people's aspirations, and briefed Rear Admiral Shamkhani on the elections in the Islamic Jihad Movement.
Ziyad al-Nakhalah stated: "Resistance has become more powerful than ever in terms of its capacity and capability against the aggressors, and these achievements is obvious in the great right of return protests, recent defeat of the Zionist invasion and reflected in early elections in the occupied lands."
Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement (PIJ) Ziyad al-Nakhalah referred to the efforts made by some Arab and Western countries to defeat the resistance, saying the Palestinian people are more determined than ever before, and will continue with their proud resistance, until complete victory is achieved.
Prior to meeting the secretary general of the national security council, Ziyad al-Nakhalah met Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Tehran on Saturday.
