The Deputy Foreign Ministers of Iran and China sat for a meeting and discussion session in the Chinese capital of Beijing regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi on Sunday in a meeting with his Chinese counterpart "Ma Jao Shi" held talks over Iran's nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Describing Iran and China as two strategic partners, Araghchi went on to express his happiness about the chance to discuss and exchange views with the Chinese side the most important regional and international developments.

In return, Ma Jao Shi also described Iran as China's strategic partner saying China is interested in cementing ties and developing cooperation with Iran on international and regional issues, including the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), all aimed at bolstering security and peace in the world and the region.

The Iranian and Chinese Deputy Foreign Ministers also exchanged thoughts and discussed the upcoming meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission in Vienna which is going to be held next week, attended by Deputy Foreign Ministers of all JCPOA signatory states.
