Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed that all Pakistani and Iranian nationals are safe, and that the government took all necessary steps to guarantee their secure return.
After arriving in Bangkok from Singapore, all individuals freed were transported onward to Islamabad under coordinated diplomatic arrangements.
The Pakistani FM thanked his Iranian counterpart for placing trust in Pakistan regarding the repatriation of Iranian citizens. He commended the coordinated efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, and Pakistani diplomatic missions for their roles in ensuring the operation's success.
Ishaq Dar also expressed gratitude to the governments of Singapore, Thailand, Iran, and the United States for their cooperation and support throughout the process.
Expressing satisfaction over the safe return of all 31 Pakistani and Iranian citizens, Ishaq Dar described the operation as an example of effective diplomatic coordination and regional cooperation.
