A large number of worshippers attended the gathering, expressing deep devotion and respect. Speaking to the participants, Syed Jalal Hussaini, Deputy Custodian of the shrine, highlighted the importance of Imamat as a cornerstone of unity within the Muslim Ummah.
He emphasized that Islam is a complete and comprehensive way of life—guiding not only worship, but also shaping collective and social conduct. Hussaini further stated that when conflict was imposed upon the faithful, the brave nation responded with resolve and courage.
In his remarks, he also questioned those behind acts of violence against innocent people, saying: “What kind of atomic bomb did the innocent girls of the Minaab School possess that they were martyred?” He added that governments that fear the education of young girls cannot endure.
The ceremony was attended by a significant number of faithful men and women from Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and surrounding areas, who took part with reverence and benefited from the opportunity to pay respects to the sacred relics of Imam Reza (A.S.).
At the conclusion of the program, the gathering reaffirmed the need to strengthen unity, awareness, and religious attachment among the Muslim Ummah.
