Earlier, last night, Iranian armed forces' missile, drone units give response to U.S. aggression on Strait of Hormuz.
The missiles and drones were fired in response to the American destroyers action against two Iranian oil tankers.
Iran's naval forces launched the counterattack using cruise missiles and combat drones.
Following the U.S. aggression, Iran's IRGC Navy issued a statement:
"After the U.S. violation of the ceasefire and attack of the U.S. terrorist army on an Iranian oil tanker near the port of Jask and the approach of the U.S. terrorist army's destroyers to the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s IRGC Navy conducted a large and precise combined operation against the enemy, using various types of ballistic and anti-ship cruise missiles and destructive drones with a high-explosive warhead.
Information obtained indicates significant damage to the American enemy with the three invading enemy destroyers quickly fleeing the Strait of Hormuz."
