USA (IP) - The envoys of different countries gathered at the Iranian mission in the UN, New York, and congratulated the occasion of Iran's Islamic Revolution's victory.

Iran PressAmerica: Envoys of different countries along with a group of UN officials, including the Deputy UN Chief for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary Anne DiCarlo, congratulated the occasion to Iran's Ambassador to the UN Amir-Saeid Iravani, and deputy representative to the UN Zahra Ershadi.

The ceremony was held at the UN after a two-year pause due to the corona outbreak and witnessed the intimacy of the delegations and political figures attended which conveyed a significant meaning amid the normalization of hostilities against Iran.

Iravani warmly welcomed the guests and gifted them cards on one side of which was a map of Iran with the Persian Gulf and on the other side was the image of Cyrus' Human Rights Cylinder. Inside the card also was a copy of Imam Ali's (AS) command to his representative Malik Ashtar about the way of ruling and treating people.

Forty-four years ago, on February 11, 1979, the Iranian nation led by Imam Khomeini succeeded to oust the US-backed Shah regime and established the Islamic Republic of Iran based on the people's votes.

Tomorrow is February 11, 2023.
