Iran UN envoy ,Amir Saeed Iravani, stated in a letter to the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council: The US military action against two Iranian oil tankers near the port of Jask and the Strait of Hormuz, as well as attacks against several points on Iran's coastal areas overlooking the Strait of Hormuz, are considered a clear violation of the April 8, 2026 ceasefire and a flagrant breach of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the UN Charter.
