Iran's Interior Minister said that the Islamic Republic wants the best relations with its neighbors, but the enemies must refrain from any adventure towards Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking to reporters on Monday about the movements of Iran's northwestern neighbors and the recent remarks by Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, Ahmad Vahidi stressed that Iran wanted the best relations with its neighbors.

"Our enemies, especially Israel and the United States, are active in the region and want to divide the nations," Vahidi added.

He then pointed to the Conquerors of Khaybar exercise and said that the message of the drills in northwestern borders of the country to the enemies was Iran's readiness, strength and that the enemies should avoid any adventure.

Iran's Army Ground Force kicked off the 'Fatehan Kheibar' (Conquerors of Kheibar) drill in northwestern Iran on Friday. 

The Commander of Iranian Army Ground Forces Brigadier-General Kiumars Heidari said that the drill aimed at testing the most upgraded weapons and military equipment as well as the assessment of the readiness of the armed forces. 

"The overt and covert presence of the Zionist regime's elements and the possibility of a significant number of ISIS terrorists in the countries of the region adds to the importance of this exercise," the commander highlighted.
