Iran Press/ Asia: The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Abbas Mousavi, said; "Following the attack and disrespect of some people to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baku last night and strong protests and official pursuits, the diplomatic police and the Ministry of Interior of Azerbaijan identified, arrested, and interrogated four suspects."
He stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran embassy was pursuing the issue until the perpetrators were punished.
The attack on the Iranian embassy came after the recent interview of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with a News Agency. In that interview, he claimed that Iranian trucks had entered the Nagorno-Karabakh region illegally.
