Iran: 583 COVID-19 Patients succumb to death in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that COVID-19 had claimed 583 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 111,257.

Iran PressIran news:  According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 06, 2021, a total number of 5,156,986 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,394,083 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 27,579 cases, out of whom 3,973 patients were hospitalized.

7,628 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 29,568,864 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 246 cities are red, 144 are orange, and 58 are yellow zones.

So far, 19,620,596 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 9,832,848 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 29,453,444 doses.
