Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that COVID-19 had taken 610 lives during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 110,674.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 5, 2021, a total number of 5,129,407 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,362,814 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 25,870 cases, out of whom 3,430 patients were hospitalized.

7,689 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 29,452,322 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 246 cities are red, 144 are orange, and 58 are yellow.

So far, 19,467,858 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 9,684,669 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 29,152,527 doses.
