Iran logs 155 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that COVID-19 had killed 155 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 80,813.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to June 04, 2021, several 2,954,309 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,522,702 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 9,209 cases, out of whom 1,426 patients were hospitalized. 3,852 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 20,441,555 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 201 are orange, and 231 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,156,855 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 536,643 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 4,693,498 doses.
