Tehran (IP) – Iran Health Ministry announced on Sunday that in the past 24 hours, 496 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 70,070.

Iran PressIran News: According to the Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari, the total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 2,417,230, and 1,892,229 of them were recovered.

According to diagnostic criteria from yesterday to April 26, 2021, according to definitive diagnostic criteria, 21,026 new patients with COVID-19 were identified in the country, of which 3,734 were hospitalized.

5,244 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

So far, 15,313,657 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 301 cities are in red, 95 in orange, 45 are in yellow and 7 are in the blue zones.

So far, 652,903 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 171,210 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 824,113 doses.
