Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at the ceremony of the start of the third phase of the coronavirus vaccine clinical trial of the Pasteur Institute of Iran and the Finlay Institute of Cuba at the Ibn Sina Hall of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences on Monday, Saeed Namaki stated: “It has new technologies and we are one of the proudest countries in this field."
He stressed: "Today, the generals in the field of vaccine production did their job and Iran is the pioneer country in the field of production of COVID-19 vaccine in the region."
Today, the volunteers for the Pasteur coronavirus vaccine showed the world that they believe in it, he added, noting: "I studied phases one and two of this vaccine carefully and it is very good, and these steps are well done and confident. So I allowed the third phase to be performed."
Namaki added: "We had one of the most delicate and scientific ways of managing the coronavirus situation with our hands tied and our eyes open despite all the pressures and sanctions."
The third phase of the joint vaccine clinical trial of Iran and Cuba started on Monday in Isfahan, central Iran.
