69 succumb to COVID-19 in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Health spokeswoman announced on Friday that 1,615,184 people in the country had been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,379,922 recovered.

Iran PressIran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 26, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,103 cases out of whom 592 patients were hospitalized," Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 69 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 59,899.

3,720 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

"So far, 10,734,375 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

At the moment,11 cities are in the red zone, 31 in the orange, 252 yellow, and 154 are in the blue zone.

Red zones are Abadan, Ahvaz, Bandar Mahshahr, Khorramshahr, Dezful, Dasht-e Azadegan, Ramhormoz, Shadegan, Shushtar, Karun and Hoveyzeh .
