In a formal letter addressed to Speaker of Iran's Parliament, Hezbollah Secretary-General expressed profound appreciation for Iran's resolute and supportive stance toward Lebanon and the Resistance during the recent negotiations that resulted in a primary MoU with the U.S.-Israeli side.

Why it matters:

The letter underscored Iran's decisive position, which played a pivotal role in compelling the Israeli regime to halt military operations across all fronts, including Lebanon.

What he's sying:

Sheikh Qassem described this Iranian position as a foundational clause in the negotiations between Iran and the United States.

The Secretary-General further characterized Iran as the "embodiment of dignity and honor," emphasizing that the Islamic Republic has consistently supported Hezbollah, the Lebanese people, and the Resistance without seeking any material return.

He asserted that Iran has now reinforced this commitment by sacrificing its own blood in confronting Israeli aggression, fully aware of the severe repercussions and the threat of an all-out war against its own territory.

Furthere:

He requested that his appreciation be conveyed to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei; to President Masoud Pezeshkian; and to Iran’s military and elite institutions, including the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Armed Forces, for their transformative role in altering regional equations.

The Hezbollah chief thanked the Iranian nation for their mass demonstrations of solidarity and their calls for the defense of the Resistance and the people of Lebanon.

He concluded by stating that had other nations followed Iran's principled path, the arrogance and occupation perpetrated by the U.S. and Israel would not have persisted.
