White House frightened by Zarif diplomatic capabilities: Rouhani

The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran on his Twitter account wrote that Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif designation indicated that White House was frightened by his diplomatic capabilities.

Iran Press/Iran news: "If they're serious about negotiations, who other than the FM can be their interlocutor? Zarif heads the Islamic Republic's diplomacy and ably talks and negotiates on behalf of the entire nation," Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani said on Thursday according to Iran Press.

Earlier on Thursday in Tabriz, Iranian President referred to the sanctions imposed on Iran's Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, saying that the US administration which was considered as the so-called World Power was afraid of Iran's Foreign Minister's interview with the American Media.

"The US is afraid of having an interview with the Informed and knowledgeable person so that Mohammad Javad Zarif's interview is considered as the source for US month-long anger" Rouhani added.

On Aug. 01, the US administration has imposed sanctions on Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, in the latest effort by Washington to ratchet up its “maximum pressure” campaign against Tehran.
