Iran Press / Iran News: Ahmad Anaraki-Mohammadi in an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Monday in Majlis (Islamic Consultative Assembly), said: when the devastating flood was hit parts of Iran, the US prevented and hindered the humanitarian aids have been sent by the countries who wanted to prove their friendship with Iran.
He added: "The US always has proven its dishonesty and reneging to its promises. Providing some special medicine and fundamental ingredient has been hindered and limited due to US sanctions while they say medicine and food items are exempted from sanctions but Americans put limitation and hindered Iran from buying needed medicine from abroad under sanctions impacts."
The deputy head of the Majlis Economic Commission said despite US unilateral sanctions against Iran, currently, Iran is one of the first countries in producing and dispensing medicine in the world especially for special drugs.
On Apr 03, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani strongly criticized the United States for blocking international aid to the flood-stricken people of Iran, describing America's behavior as criminal, chiding the US for "an unprecedented crime".
