Iran Press/ Asia: In a tweet on Friday, Mohammad Ali Hosseini appreciated Imran Khan's stances as being aimed at ensuring Muslim's interests and strengthening unity.
The Iranian envoy also supported the Pakistani Prime Minister's stances on the de-escalation of tensions in the region.
At a session of Pakistan's National Assembly On Thursday, Imran Khan said his country's efforts continue to defuse tensions in the region, like the past.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan traveled to Tehran on October 13 last year for his second official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the aim of increasing peace and security in the region.
During the visit, Imran Khan met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, President Hassan Rouhani, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif.
