Sana'a (IP) – Yemeni armed forces have announced a military strike targeting Tel Aviv with a "Palestine-2" hypersonic missile, marking an escalation in regional tensions amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Iran Press/West Asia: In a statement reported by Yemeni media outlet Al-Masirah, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, claimed responsibility for the attack. According to Saree, a military target in "occupied Jaffa," referring to Tel Aviv, was successfully hit.

"We targeted a military site belonging to the Israeli enemy in occupied Jaffa using the Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile," said Saree. "By the grace of God, the operation achieved its objective."

Saree emphasized that the attack was conducted in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their resistance movements, describing it as a response to the Israeli regime's ongoing crimes against Palestinians in Gaza.

"This operation is part of our duty to stand with the oppressed Palestinian people and their fighters," he stated. "We, along with all the free people of Yemen, are fully prepared to confront the aggression of Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom."

The Yemeni armed forces’ spokesperson also vowed to continue military operations in support of Gaza's resistance as long as the Israeli attacks and blockade persist.
