Gaza(IP)- The Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza remains under siege by Israeli forces, facing relentless attacks that exacerbate its dire conditions.

Iran Press/West Asia:   According to Iran Press, Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, the hospital’s director, described the situation as catastrophic and called on the international community to urgently intervene to halt Israel’s aggression against the hospital.

“There are currently 80 injured patients in Kamal Adwan Hospital,” Dr. Abu Safia stated, adding that despite the siege, minimal services are being provided.

Expressing regret over the deteriorating state of the hospital, he emphasized, “Kamal Adwan Hospital is the only medical facility in northern Gaza, yet it continues to be targeted by Israel in full view of the international community.”

The Israeli military reportedly strikes the hospital’s surroundings, courtyards, and various departments almost daily. Such actions blatantly violate the principle that medical facilities are designated as safe and humanitarian zones.

Dr. Abu Safia's appeal for urgent global action highlights the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the need to protect medical centers amid escalating violence in the region.
