Buenos Aires(IP): Thousands took to the streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina, to denounce Israel’s ongoing violence in Gaza and the West Bank.

Iran Press/America: Under the slogan "For a Christmas Without Genocide," the protest highlighted the humanitarian crisis in Palestine and criticized the Argentine government’s support for Israeli policies.

December 23, the Argentine Committee of Solidarity with the Palestinian People organized a march in Buenos Aires, gathering at Avenida de Mayo and Avenida 9 de Julio under the banner "For a Christmas Without Genocide."

The protest sought to denounce Israel’s continued attacks on Gaza and the occupied West Bank, which have claimed over 45,000 lives, including 20,000 children.

Filmmaker Fernando Romanazzo emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the crisis who spoke to Iran Press in an exclusive interview in Buenos Aires: "Palestinians are being massacred, and their phones are often the only tools to document these atrocities. Nearly 300 journalists have been killed, and foreign media are barred from entering. Our mission is to spread the truth and fight for peace in every nation, including Palestine."

The protest also criticized Argentina’s government for its alignment with Israeli policies.

Legislator Gabriel Solano addressed the genocide and the Argentine government’s role in an exclusive interview with Iran Press: "This year alone, nearly 100,000 Palestinians have been killed. Our government, led by Javier Milei, is actively supporting this genocide. We want to show Palestine that we stand with them and reject these policies."

The event concluded with a cultural activity near the Israeli embassy, as protesters were blocked from demonstrating directly in front of it.

"We intended to protest outside the embassy, but security forces pushed us to a nearby plaza. This shows the government’s complicity in supporting Israel and covering up the genocide in Gaza," Iván Z., a member of “Jews for Palestine, told Iran Press correspondent on the ground.

The march was a powerful display of solidarity with the Palestinian people, calling for an end to the violence and advocating for peace in the Middle East.
