Yemeni security forces have successfully neutralized espionage operations by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Israel's Mossad, according to a report by Al Mayadeen on Wednesday. Yemeni officials confirmed that these intelligence activities were part of broader efforts to destabilize the country and undermine its sovereignty.

Iran Press/West Asia: Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, warned of severe consequences if the United States engages in military aggression against Yemen in support of Israel. He stated that Yemen would not hesitate to target American interests across the Middle East, asserting that there would be no limits to Yemen’s response.

In a pointed message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Al-Houthi declared that the Yemeni people do not fear the Zionist regime, dismissing its threats as baseless. He also urged Saudi Arabia to intervene and discourage U.S. actions that could escalate the conflict in the region.

Al-Houthi criticized the U.S. military's presence in the Red Sea, specifically referencing the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier, which he described as a threat to Yemen’s national security. He warned that if the carrier remains in the region, it would become an easy target for Yemeni armed forces. This follows CENTCOM’s announcement that sailors aboard the USS Harry S. Truman are preparing munitions for potential strikes on Ansar Allah (Houthi) targets in Yemen. CENTCOM also recently claimed responsibility for an airstrike in Sana’a, Yemen’s capital.

Recent months have seen multiple attacks on Yemen by the U.S., U.K., and Israel, intensifying the ongoing conflict. Yemen’s firm stance against foreign espionage and military threats highlights its resolve to defend its sovereignty, as tensions in the Middle East continue to rise.
