Hussein Amir-Abdollahian warns about continuing anti-Iran measures of Saudi Arabia

A special aide and adviser to the speaker of Iran's parliament, and former deputy foreign minister, Hussein Amirabdollahian has warned Saudi Arabia about the dire consequences of its current policies in relation to Tehran.

Iran Press/Middle EastIn a tweet prior to the Saudi-hosted emergency summits in Mecca on Friday, Hussein Amirabdollahian twitted that rulers of Saudi Arabia should expect 'a shocking new decision' from Tehran if they continue to support America's on-going economic war against Iran.

According to an Iran Press report, Amirabdollahian warned Riyadh about the consequences of its current policies vis-a-vis Iran, saying if Riyadh continues these policies it should expect Tehran's new shocking decision.

He tweeted: "Time to end the dirty policies of Israeli, Saudi and UAE is coming soon."

He reiterated that the Saudi summits are in fact a 'political face-off' with Iran.

Tehran believes in logic and action, not show-off, he said, while maintaining that it was Iran and its allies which "powerfully defeated Takfiri, Wahabbi, Zionist terrorism in the region."

Persian Gulf and Arab leaders took part in two emergency summits on May 30 in Mecca, hosted by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman.

The summits’ final statement levelled unfounded accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran has condemned the statement, saying Saudi Arabia’s attempt to rally neighbouring and Arab countries against Iran is "the continuation of a futile process that the United States and the Zionist regime are pursuing against the Islamic Republic."  203/211/209
