Tehran (IP) - Iranian Health Ministry spokesman said so far, 935,894 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country.

Iran PressIran news: Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Health Ministry announced that so far, 151,466 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 118,848 of total infected people have recovered.

Kianoush Jahanpour on Sunday, May 31 on his daily news conference said: "From yesterday to May 31 in the country, 2,516 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed and the number of patients with this disease reached 151,466."

"Among the new patients, 511 were hospitalized and 2,005 were in contact with patients who were diagnosed," the spokesman added.

Fortunately, 118,848 patients have recovered and have been discharged so far, Jahanpour stated.

The Spokesman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 63 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, so 7,797 people have lost their lives in the country to the date."

He stated, "2,527 patients are in a critical condition."

So far, 935,894 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokesman said.

The provinces of Isfahan, East and West Azerbaijan, Lorestan, Kermanshah, Hormozgan, and Sistan, and Baluchestan are on the alert condition, Jahanpour said.
