COVID-19 fully recovered patients exceeds 107,000: Health Min. Spox
Tehran (IP) - Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health announced that so far, 137,724 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and of this total 107,713 have fully recovered from the disease.
Iran Press/ Iran news: Kianoush Jahanpour on Monday, May 25 commented on the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, saying: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and in the last 24 hours (up to 25 May) in the country, 2,023 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed and the number of patients with this disease reached 137,724."
Fortunately, 107,713 patients have fully recovered and have been discharged so far, Jahanpour added.
The Spokesman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 34 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and a total of 7,451 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
He stated, "2,585 patients are in a critical condition."
"So far, 818,917 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokesman said.
Kianoush Jahanpour also announced that there were no fatalities attributed to COVID-19 in 19 provinces, and in 5 provinces, only one fatal case was reported.
