Iran FM spokesman dismisses Bolton claims about Fujairah incident

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman said that US national security adviser John Bolton'a claims about Fujairah incident are baseless.

Iran press/Iran news: "Such ridiculous claims from two US officials who have a long record of anti-Iran activities is not something strange," Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, noted.

"Bolton and all warmongers in Washington should be aware that Iran's strategic patience, its high vigilante and its full defensive awareness eliminated their plots to make chaos and instability in the region," Seyyed Abbas Mousavi said according to Iran Press.

"Iran seeks its power from its people's great will and from the resistance of the people against the US," Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman concluded.

Speaking at a press conference in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, Bolton alleged that the May 12 incident had been caused by Iranian naval mines, without providing any evidence to substantiate his claim.  101/211/201
