Foreign Ministry Spox: No dialogue or negotiations between Iran and US

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman has reiterated that there is no dialogue or negotiations of any kind between Iran and the United States.

Iran press/Iran news: Foreign ministry spokesman, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi has dismissed media reports of start of negotiations or dialogue between Tehran and Washington, saying all such reports are false.

Earlier, various media outlets had quoted the Kuwaiti deputy foreign minister who had claimed on Sunday that talks between Iran and the United States have already started.

Mousavi stressed that there are no direct or indirect talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States, dismissing all claims of dialogue between Tehran and Washington. 

On May. 25, Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister stressed that the recent visit by the Omani foreign minister to Tehran and direct contact between Muscat and Washington signals diplomatic activity to reduce tensions in the region.
