Iran’s men’s Kabaddi team defeated India 27 to 17 , in the 2018 Asian Games on Thursday, to set up an exciting final with South Korea on Friday.

According to an Iran Press report, the  men’s Kabaddi team was neck-and-neck with India at the end of the first half, with both teams scoring 9 points.  However, in the second half, the Iranian team showed its superiority , beating the Indian Kabaddi team 27 -17 . 

Beating South Korea in the final tomorrow (Friday ) would ensure a gold medal for Iran’s men’s Kabaddi team.

Yesterday (Wednesday ) the Iranian men’s Kabaddi team defeated Nepal and Indonesia in the 2018 Asian Games.

In the matches played at the Theatre Garuda in Jakarta, Indonesia, Iran defeated Nepal 75-21 in Pool B and then beat host Indonesia 65-24.

The 2018 Asian Games, officially known as the 18th Asian Games and also known as Jakarta Palembang 2018, is a pan-Asian multi-sport event scheduled to be held from 18 August to 2 September in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang.

The athletes compete in 465 events across 40 sports and 67 disciplines.
