Northern Yemen still under Saudi-led airstrikes

A Yemeni army spokesman confirmed on Sunday evening that Saudi fighters have bombed Yemeni Provinces of 'Saada' in the north and 'Hajjah' in the northwest more than 40 times over the past 24 hours.

Iran Press/ Middle East: Brigadier General Yahya Sarie noted that during the attacks dozens of Yemeni citizens have been killed and wounded.

Saudi-led coalition fighters have repeatedly bombarded residential areas in Saada and Hajjah provinces in recent days.

Backed by the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, Saudi Arabia launched a devastating invasion of Yemen in March 2015, imposing a cruel land, sea, and air blockade of the country.
