Tehran (IP)- Iran’s Army Chief Commander said the army is supported and backed by Iranian people, which is valuable and rear in the world because the army stands still by people during the incident of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Iran PressIran News: Iran’s Army Chief Commander Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi commemorated Army Day and thanked the country’s medical staff in their fight against coronavirus.

Noting that the Army personnel sacrifice their lives for the sake of people, General Mousavi said, “Today the Army is in a position to play its integral role and via sea, air, ground and defensive sector hand in hand with Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps  (IRGC) defends the Islamic Republic of Iran”.

He referred to Army’s Service Parade and its providing people with health services across Iran and appreciated the medical staff who is the forerunner of fighting the coronavirus.

The Army Commander said to combat coronavirus and help the country’s medical staff, the army allocated 11,000 of its medical staff in addition to produce masks and sanitizers.  

The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran stand firmly against the enemies and offer services to people and support them,  Iran’s Army Chief Commander Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi stressed.
