Acting Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Cornel Feruta said a team of experts are scheduled to fly to Tehran next week to follow on the constructive cooperation between Tehran and the UN watchdog agency.

Iran PressIran news: He said IAEA will continue its positive and constructive cooperation with Iran over verification and monitoring of Tehran's peaceful nuclear program.

Feruta was speaking with reporters on Thursday following the IAEA Board of Governors meeting in Vienna on Verification and Monitoring of Iran in Light of United Nations Security Council Resolution 2231 passed in 2015.

On the detection of anthropogenic natural uranium particles at an undeclared location in Iran, he said the team of experts and senior officials will discuss the matter with Iranian officials demanding transparency.

To a question on the future of the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran and Tehran's incremental resumption of its enrichment activity in retaliation to the US withdrawal from the deal in 2018, Feruta declined to pass a comment.

He said the IAEA has reported on Iran's steps including enrichment in Fordow plant and would not speculate on the nuclear deal's future.
