Mahtab Nabavi, Iranian female Taekwondo athlete

Four Iranian taekwondo fighters, including a female teakwondo athlete rank at the top global rankings for September 2019.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to the latest global ranking of taekwondo federation, four Iranian taekwondo practitioners are still on the top of the list of their weights.

In its newest ranking, the World Taekwondo Federation announced that 'Mahtab Nabavi', Iranian female athlete gained 110 points to rank first in women's -58 Kg weight of K41 class, Iran Press reported.

Also in the report, 'Saeed Sadeghianpour' in -61 Kg of K42 class, 'Ahmad Narimani' from +75 Kg class and 'Mehdi Pour Rahnama' from -75kg weight category from K44 class respectively gained 298, 60/254 and 12/281 to secure the top ranking for themselves.

'Mehdi Bahrani Azar', the other Iranian taekwondokas in +75 Kg, gained 124 points to remain on the second global ranking of the list.

According to the World Taekwondo Federation, based on the system ranking and points gained by the athlete, Paralympic Quota for 'Pour Rahnema' has been finalized for Tokyo 2020 Olympic games.  101/211/212
