Iran's Leader has received Mohammed Abdulsalam, the spokesman for Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement and his entourage for a meeting on Tuesday, emphasizing that the Yemeni people will emerge victorious from the Saudi-imposed war.

Iran Press/Iran news: At this meeting, Mohammed Abdulsalam presented a letter from Seyyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansarullah Movement, to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei praised the 'spirit of jihad' of the Yemeni people, as well as their unwavering faith, steadfastness, resilience, vigilance and insight. The Leader described Saudi-imposed war on Yemen as 'a brutal, barbaric and all-encompassing war', giving the glad tiding to the Yemeni people that without a doubt they will emerge victorious in this war, thanks to their unflinching faith in the Almighty and the promise the Lord has made. The Leader said: "Any Muslim nation which has faith in God, and believes in the divine promise, will definitely emerge victorious."

In further remarks, the Leader said: "The people of Yemen, given their history and civilisation, and in view of the resilience and resistance that they have shown in the face of Saudi military aggression in the past five years, have a bright future ahead of them, and they will form a strong government which will lead the country towards advancement and progress, like they have never seen before."

Turning to Saudi war crimes in Yemen, Ayatollah Khamenei poignantly added: "The Saudis and Emiratis have committed enormous crimes in Yemen, but they shall never achieve their objectives, and they will never win this war. They want to disintegrate Yemen, and the Yemeni people must stand up staunchly to this Saudi-led conspiracy, they must powerfully resist the Saudis and defend a united Yemen which shall remain intact. They will defend the territorial integrity of their country."

Commenting further the Leader said: "Given the different ethnic groups and religions in Yemen, a national dialogue and talks between different Yemeni groups is absolutely necessary if the territorial integrity of Yemen is to be maintained."

At the end of his comments the Leader asked the Yemeni delegation to convey his greetings to his dear brother,  Seyyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, and the faithful and resilient Yemeni people.
