Iranian Foreign Minister, responding to a question about differences of opinion within Donald Trump's administration about imposing sanctions on Iran, said there are differences of opinion within the US government over the issue.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking with Iran Press correspondent in a press conference on Monday in Tehran, Mohammad Javad Zarif said: "The US is not a monolithic country. There are different views and positions in the United States, and even there are different positions within the US administration, and certainly, there are differences of views between congress and the administration."

Referring to the disagreement between one of the US senators and a member of congress about the imposed economic sanctions on Iran and the sanctions imposed on Iran's Foreign Minister, Zarif said: "We welcome all those who believe in dialogue and all those who believe in recognition of the interests of all."

He went on to add: "We believe that no agreement can be reached without recognizing the interest of all concerned parties and the sooner the US government recognizes this reality that has been stated by many [politicians] inside the United States, the sooner we can reach some sort of outcome."

On the eve of the National Reporter's Day, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif answered several questions of Iranian and foreign media reporters in 120 minutes. 104/218
