Iranian President meets his Cuban counterpart

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani met with his Cuban counterpart in Baku on the sidelines of the 18th Non-Aligned Movement Summit.

 Iran Press/Asia: During the meeting, Hassan Rouhani and Miguel Diaz-Canel discussed issues of mutual interest.

President Rouhani also met Pakistani President Arif-ur-Rehman Alvi, Indian Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan in separate meetings.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrived in Baku on Thursday at the official invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is a forum of 120 developing world states that are not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. After the United Nations, it is the largest grouping of states worldwide.
