Iran VP Jahangiri and Uzbek prime minister Abdulla Aripov

Iran's First Vice President emphasized the necessity of expanding Tehran-Tashkent economic and commercial cooperation.

Iran Press/Asia: Iran's First Vice President, Eshag Jahangiri at the meeting with Uzbek Prime Minister, 'Abdulla Aripov' in the sidelines of the First Caspian Economic Forum in Turkmenistan, emphasized that obstacles to the development of relations between the two countries should be identified and removed.

The Vice President also announced the readiness of Iran to sign a comprehensive document on transport cooperation with Uzbekistan, by saying: "We must try to remove barriers to trade development between the two countries so that the two sides can negotiate a comprehensive document on commercial cooperation as soon as possible," Iran Press reported. 

In his turn, the Uzbek prime minister emphasized the need to develop cultural cooperation between the two countries and called on Iran to use its capacities in repairing and restoring ancient debris and in teaching the Persian language.
