Tehran (IP) - The magnificent Arbaeen mourning rituals unite Muslims worldwide and prevent their divisions, making enemies hopeless and disillusioned, says Iran's Parliament Speaker.

Iran Press/Iran news: Appreciating Iraqi people and officials' hosting Arbaeen pilgrims, especially Iranian pilgrims, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said on Tuesday: Arbaeen March will be held every year more magnificently than the previous years and will indicate the strong ties of different nations, especially Iran-Iraq nation and the progress of the Islam among the world's nations.

Commemorating the 'Sacred Defense Week,' he said: Time will never be able to erase the memory of martyrs who sacrificed their lives to defend the country from our minds.

He further stressed: that Sacred Defense martyrs are role models for youth to take firm steps to develop the country without fear of enemies.

In his remarks, Ghalibaf referred to Mahsa Amini's case and emphasized: I ordered a thorough probe into the case of a young woman who died until all its aspects came into the light.

He continued: The concerned state bodies must follow up their duties perfectly by training their forces regarding hejab to prevent such incidents.

Mahsa Amini, a 22 years Iranian girl, fainted at the police department in Tehran on Tuesday after being taken for violation of dress codes along with some other women.

According to the footage of the Iran police CCTVs camera, Mahsa Amini, when talking with one of the police staff in the headquarters, suddenly faints and falls to the ground. She was immediately taken to hospital, but unfortunately, she died on Friday, September 16, 2022.

Police on Friday released CCTV footage of the moment she fell to the ground, dismissing allegations of any physical contact with the victim.

Police also said Amini lost her life due to heart failure.

Immediately after Amini's death on Friday, President Raisi ordered Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi to investigate the details of the incident with "urgency and precision" and to submit a report on the results.
