Tehran (IP) - On the third day of the meeting of directors and heads of Iran's ministry of education, the Iranian parliament speaker called Jihad-based decision as the key to reform and change in educational system.

Iran PressIran News: On the third day of the meeting of the directors and heads of Iran's Ministry of education on Monday morning, Iran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said: "Today is a good opportunity to appreciate efforts made by each and every single one of Iranian education activists present in the event." 

He said: "I have faith, and I believe that the way to transform and strengthen Iran is only in the hands of education activists."

Ghalibaf added: "Higher education is also a part of the institution of education, so when it is not yet our priority and when we invest and bring material facilities to the field instead of concentrating these capacities into productive human capital funds; consequently, we pour funds into the well of the bureaucratic system and get the lowest output, efficiency and effectiveness from it."

He then wnet on to  refer to the educational system and said: "The system requires a jihad-oriented decision as a source of reform and change."

Ghalibaf stated: "Today, we all agree that people's livelihood is the first priority of our country, and we must pay attention to it; we talk about livelihood everywhere, and we are trying to fix the livelihood sector, but we must be careful."
