Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that 23 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 132,356.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 28, 2022, a total number of 6,310,452 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,095,414 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 16,757 cases, of whom 994 were hospitalized.

1,323 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 44,516,027 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 60,618,612 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 53,917,003  have received the second dose, 16,175,768 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 130,711,386 doses.
