Recent victories brought enemy to his knees: Yemeni defence min.

The Yemeni Minister of Defense of the National Salvation Government said that recent victories in operational areas, especially in Ma'rib, have brought the enemy to his knees.

Iran PressMiddle East: Major-General Mohammad Nasser Al-Atefi said on Sunday: "Recent victories in operational areas, especially in Ma'rib, have brought the enemy to his knees; the enemy that is now crumbling and is taking final stages of activities."

He added: "Aggressive coalition countries have reached bad conditions in various military, economic, political and propaganda fields."

The Yemeni Minister of Defense added: "Today, the aggressors are paying a heavy price for tyranny, coercion, and aggression against Yemen."

Major-General Al-Atefi stressed: "No aggressor or occupier has remained and will not remain on Yemeni soil and that it is impossible for the Yemeni people to accept the aggressors; No matter how evil and arrogant forces conspire against the public resistance."

He continued that the resilient nation of Yemen will definitely win against the oppressive aggressors.

Earlier, news sources reported that Yemeni army forces and popular committees had taken control of the Wadi al-Nakhla strategic area north of Ma'rib.
