Iran claims 111 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 111 patients had died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 84,627.

Iran Press/Iran News:  According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to July 03, 2021, 3,241,037 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,914,830 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,341 cases, out of whom 1,120 patients were hospitalized.

3,207 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 23,888,861 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 63 cities are red, 184 are orange, and 201 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,453,439 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 1,871,268 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 6,324,707 doses.

For the time being, 92 cities are in the red zone, 183 cities are in orange, and 173 cities are in yellow.
