Iran logs 140 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 140 patients had died of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 83,985.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to June 28, 2021, 3,180,092 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,848,042 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 12,351 cases, out of whom 1,417 patients were hospitalized.

3,185 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 23,421,222 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 32 cities are red, 174 are orange, and 242 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,424,855 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 1,379,431 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 5,804,286 doses.
