The new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Havana submitted his credentials to the president of Cuba.

Iran PressIran News: Cuban President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez received the credentials of the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Havana Mohammad-Hadi Sobhani.

Bermudez also congratulated Ebrahim Raisi on his victory in the presidential election and wished success to the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Cuba during his mission.

Referring to the coincidence of the vote on the resolution “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba” at the UN General Assembly, he thanked Iran for its support of Cuba in international organizations and forums.

He stressed the expansion of Iran-Cuba cooperation in various fields, especially in the co-production of the COVID-19 vaccine.
