Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that COVID-19 had killed 173 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 79,741.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 29, 2021, 2,893,218 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,425,033 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,107 cases, out of whom 1,062 patients were hospitalized.

4,296 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 19,687,077 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 13 cities are red, 214 are orange, and 221 are yellow zones.

So far, 3,337,848 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 508,672 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 3,846,520 doses.
