Worshippers hold rally in support of Palestine in Tehran

Tehran (IP) - After performing Eid al-Fits Prayer on Thursday, worshipers marched from the University of Tehran to Palestine Square in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.

Iran Press/Iran news: People from different walks of life including old, young, and children, as well as a large number of students, chanted anti-US and anti-Israeli slogans in support of the oppressed Palestinian people. 

Representative of the Islamic Jihad movement, Khaled al-Ghaddumi, is scheduled to speak at the event.

After a major Israeli airstrike in Gaza on Wednesday, Hamas Hamas has launched rockets at Tel Aviv.

At least 35 people have martyred in the Gaza strip after the Israeli military attack. 

The attacks were carried out after Hamas fired several rockets at Israel-occupied territories in response to the Israeli raids on Al Aqsa Mosque.
