Tehran (IP) - People across Iran performed Eid al-Fitr prayers in mosques and mausoleums while observing coronavirus health protocols.

Iran Press/Iran newsEid al-Fitr prayers were held in the red and orange zones cities outdoors and in the yellow and blue zone cities in mosques and mausoleums, according to Iran's smart management plan of fighting coronavirus.

Today (Thursday) in most Islamic countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, was announced Eid al-Fitr.

Muslims around the world gathered to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, a major Islamic festival and feast marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Eid-al-Fitr is one of the major festivals in the Islamic faith and sees Muslims hold mass prayers and give money to the poor and needy.
