Iran Press/ Iran News: According to the excavations that started two years ago in Qabaq Tappeh village, a carved stone was found which belonged to the Assyrian period and around the eighth century BC.
Archaeological excavations are currently underway in Qabaq Tappeh.
The Head of the Qabaq Tappeh archaeological group, Sajjad Alibeygi, said that according to new findings, there was an administrative, political, and military building in the area, which was built after the Assyrian conquest and occupation of the village.
