The “Hearts of Lebanon” initiative was launched in Beirut to document the names and stories of more than 700 children martyred in Israeli attacks on Lebanon between 2023 and 2026, preserving their memory and creating a database for researchers, journalists, and human rights organizations.

Lebanese Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine, Parliament’s Women and Children Committee Chair Inaya Ezzeddine, Lebanese political and media figures, and families of victims attended the opening ceremony, which featured documentaries, testimonies from survivors and bereaved families, and the unveiling of the initiative’s website.

Organizers said the project aims to preserve the human memory of the victims, strengthen documentation of Israeli attacks, and keep the issue of child victims alive in Arab and international public opinion.
